Over 20 years, Darren has worked for public good impact, designing and assuring large-scale transformations, regulatory initiatives and program interventions that tackle societies’ most complex challenges. He works with governments and international NGOs and responsible corporates, at the most senior levels and on the most sensitive topics, taking a co-design approach to create new coalitions to drive change.
Darren is also an executive director of the Ed Institute, which works with school systems and young people to create the pipeline of future ethical leaders. As a teacher, he runs the Australian Public Service Commission’s Digital Disruption Day course, which introduces SES Band 1s and 2s to high-level digital transformation concepts. He has taught on design thinking, ethnography, impact authoring, social good innovation and a range of other topics. He has guest lectured at Yale/Singapore National University, the UN School for Peace, ANU, Xi’An Polytechnic and other institutions on the design of public good experiences and programs.
