Jim is a Founder, Leadership Designer and Mentor, Advisor and Speaker. He is a recognised leadership mentor and government transformation expert who has worked alongside public sector leaders in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and other countries to embed innovation, build leadership capability, and deliver better outcomes for citizens. In his former role as General Manager at New Zealand’s Inland Revenue, Jim led one of the first government-wide applications of design thinking, establishing the country’s first public sector design capability. Through his previous work in Singapore and ongoing engagement with regional public sector leaders, Jim understands the unique challenges facing Singapore's government managers, including the need to balance efficiency with innovation, manage diverse teams, and maintain Singapore's reputation for effective governance while adapting to evolving citizen expectations. He also does guest lectures at Victoria University.
